in a case employee deposit advance tax by pan No. through challan
and employer deducted less tax of that amount.
now Income tax department demended tax from employer of such less amount.
please help

Its not possible.

Yes income tax department do it. If employer not paid diffrence amount then exp. for that portion will be disallowed. In this case an employee has no reason to worry.
