I am venkatesh cwa final student
i want to file e Tds for quarterly
its need any software or not
my friend told its need software and its need to submit in cd format
where to submit in cd format?

13 October 2011 If you want to file e tds than you need a software of TDS filling then only you can file. In e file no cd is to be submitted. But if you file other than e file yhen after creating your return through software a FUV file is created then this file on cd along with form no 27 you have to submit to nearby NSDL branch.

13 October 2011 Dear Venkatesh,
If you wish to prepare TDS Return than First You Download the latest RPU(Return Preparation Utility) from NSDL Website.With help of that software FVU file will be generated.That file need to be uploaded Directly through NSDL web site or Nearly TIN Facilitation Center of NSDL.There is no need of CD now a days.Only pen drive will do.Pen Drive will be returned after uploading of file.

If you want to file online then you have to own a DSC.
