Dear Sir's we are a event managemet co.and given a contract for stage programme and other other stage setting for 2 days cultural proggrame to a musical group! sir i want to know which rate of tds applicable on thair u/s 194C Or u/s 194J ?

Payment are made in pursuance to professional services of artist, hence TDS is applicable u/s 194J @10%

I think 194J is applicable when we make the payment to professional artist.
In his case, he is even management and doing work on contract basis hence tds of 194c will be applicable.
Please correct me if i m wrong.
