hello. i have a query regarding TDS
the society maintains accounts on mercantile basis.
the invoices are of 09-10 but payment is done in 10-11 and tax has been deducted
will the expense be disallowed in the year 10-11?
and will the answer remain the same if the accounts were on cash basis?

EXPENSES WOULD BE DISALLOWED IF YOU HAVE PREPARED BOOKS OF ACCOUNTS ON ACCRUAL BASIS
