17 February 2011 sir i want ask that interest received on securities is taxable under the head 'income from other sources' now interest payer is to deduct TDS on such amount of interest and securities may be listed or unlisted in any recognised stock exchange so my query is that at what rate the payer will deduct TDS on such listed and unlisted securities.
