09 August 2010 MY CLIENT NEED CERTIFICATE FORM 15CB FOR MAKING PAYMENT TO FOREIGN BUYER TOWARDS QUALITY CLAIM FOR GARMENTS ALREADY SUPPLIED BY THEM.
WHETHER TDS APPLICABLE ?
ARE GIVE NIL TDS IN FORM FORM 15CB?

09 August 2010 Agree with Mr. Srinath. Form 15CB is not a TDS exemption Certificate.

You have to verify the nature of transaction & see whether any of the with holding tax provisions are attracted under the Income-tax Act or DTAA. Then certify accordingly in Form 15CB.
