05 January 2016 whether tds will be deducted if u hv order to a person to make 200 pieces of calender of ur name??

05 January 2016 TDS wont be applicable since printing is considered as a product as per Central Excise laws.

05 January 2016 As per explanation given u/s 194C, w.e.f. 1st October 2009 the expression "WORK" shall also include manufacturing or supplying a product according to the requirement or specification of a customer by using material purchased from such customer. Hence TDS will be applicable is the job is done by using material supplied by us. Otherwise, it will be treated as sale transaction hence no TDS.
