tds applicability on software purchase? invoice included vat as well as service tax.. and there is no modification in software specifically written on invoice.. hence no tds liablity.. please clarify the same..

if we purchase software it will work more than one year so it is our assets so tds will not applicable in that case
further inform you that if software company will give monthly / yearly (case may be) based serive we are paying amount more that specified limit under section 194c or 194j case may be in that case TDS will be applicable

Please get a clarification from the sellers that no part of technical fee is included in the invoice value.
