26 March 2009 I want to ask TDS certificat is recd on the basis of amount booked or amount paid.Since Tax paid on the basis on income booked.so tds certificate should be on the basis of liabilty arise.please clarify.

27 March 2009 TDS should be made on expenses booked(whether paid or not) or actually paid(may be advance or part payment) whichever is earlier.
