1.Is TDS applicable on Postage and Courier charges even if there is no monthly or yearly contract?

27 September 2013 Yes under 194C, the nature of transaction should be seen here which is like contract, even if there is no formal written contract is made. so if one bill exceeds Rs. 30,000 or years aggregate crosses 75,000. tds to be deducted..
