I WANT TO ASK IS TDS APPLICABLE FOR THE PAYMENT FOR THE ADVT IN BOOKS PREAPERE BY NEW PAPER COMPNAY . THE AMOUNT PAID IS RS 36000.00 IS TDS IS APPLICABLE ? WHAT IS THE RATE - NEW PAPER IS A PRIVATE LIMTED COMPANY

1. TDS is deductible u/s 194C.
2. TDS will be deducted @ 1% if the amount is paid to an individual or HUF.
TDS will be deducted @ 2% of the amount is paid to any other person.
