Dear Sir,
suppose company made one agreement with the appartment owner and second one entered with the society of that apartment for maintenence of apartment.
wheteher tds applicable as contract or rent for the payment to the society?

As far as society is concoerned TDS would be as in the case of contract under section 194C.
