14 May 2013 sir my client is remitting an advance payment to china for import of a machinery whether tds would be deducted

14 May 2013 If the charges are purely for import of machinary (i.e. does not include installation or commissioning charges) then tds will not be applicable as there is no income accruing to non resident.
