29 September 2013 We are a manufacturer, buying Edge Cam Software for designing worth Rs.120000/- what will be taxes we need to pay for interstate purchases.

29 September 2013 We are a manufacturer in Maharashtra, buying Edge Cam Software for designing worth Rs.120000/- . Suppler from Karnataka charging Service Tax @ 12.36% & also CST @5.5% . Is it correct ? if it is yes should I deduct TDS on full Amount. Can I purchase it with 2% CST against C'Form.

you can purchase on 2% with cst.

TDS should be deducted on full amount of bill.

29 September 2013 I heard from my Sales Tax Consultant, we can not issue C'form for Software. Pls. elborate the possibilities for issuing C'form

29 September 2013 c form availity is depend on the work and profile of the company.

currently sales tax department are issuing c form only for the raw material purchase.

but you consultant can arrange the c form.As you know how Sales tax department work.
