Taxation and service tax on hire charges

26 November 2013 I want to ask that my client is earning hire charges income of rs 290000.00 per annum from year 01.04.2012 onwards in haryana so I want to ask whether any sales tax or service tax is chargeable on this and at what rate it is chargeable.

If possible how can taxation be avoided.

26 November 2013 Service tax is applicable as its a declared service under sec 66E under finance act 1994.

26 November 2013 Charegeable @ 12.36% but abatement is allowed on it.

No sales tax is applicable.
