There must Employer and employee relationship must be there to fall under salary income.
Definitely, there is no such relation ship beween the insurance company and agent.
Hence its not come under Salary Income.
It is chargeable under Income from Other Sources.

For agent it is business, as such it can be assessed under head PGBP.
