My client has received the funds from EPF means , he has received the amount of EPF.
Now i want to know that whether it is taxable or not ?

I ASSUME THAT PF FUND WAS A RECOGNISED ONE. ANT ACCUMULATED BALANCE RECD FROM RPF IS EXEMPT ONLY AS PER SECTION 10(12) READ WITH RULE 8 OF PART A OF FOUTH SCHEDULE TO IT ACT. CHECK WHETHER CONDITIONS SPECIFIED THEREIN R SATISFIED OTHERWISE SAME IS TAXABLE.
