12 June 2013 Dear Expert,
I have filed my itr-1 (Salary) last year on which Rs 14000 tds was deducted as shown in form 16 given by my company.but as per 26AS no tds showing hence my refund still not received to me.
Pls help me what to do?

12 June 2013 YOU WILL HAVE TO GET THE TDS RETURN REVISED BY THE COMPANY WHICH HAS DEDUCTED YOUR TDS.

12 June 2013 Your company may provided manually prepared ITR..

1)Ask your company to revise their tds return so that amount will reflected in 26AS..

2)if they cant revise ..collect tds deducted from you back from the company..

*Form 16 is the valid proof for the TAX deducted source and assesse can claim tds credit as per form 16 however for refund you will get only amount as shown in 26AS..

That is why it is mandatory to collect tds certificates=form16/form16a generated from traces.

12 June 2013 TDS CANNOT BE CLAIMED BACK FROM THE COMPANY GANESHBABU JI..
TDS ONCE DEDUCTED HAS TO BE DEPOSITED WITH THE INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT IN ANY CASE.
AND THE COMPANY WILL NOT PROVIDE THE ITR TO THE ASSESSEE. IT IS THE ASSESSEE WHO HAS TO HIMSELF FILE AN ITR.

12 June 2013 i have not suggested author to get ITR from company..

1)ask company to revise tds return..

2)in case if they cannot file tds retun..?
he has to collect money with interest loss..

let me know other options left to author in case company is not going to file revise return..
