25 October 2025 Dear members
I have a query and request you to clarify. Mr.A purchased silver on 22.09.2022. Cost is Rs.1670250. He sold the silver on 14.08.2025 for Rs.3360000. Please inform how to calculate capital gain

25 October 2025 As holding is more than 2 years, it will be long term capital gain. So, tax will be 12.5% over the net capital gain without indexation. [i.e 12.5* (3.36L-1.67025 L)]
