Am a student one by six rule is not applicable to me for filing my return and I do not have Taxable income more than exemption limit. Am not Filing my Return of income.
My question now is
The party has deducted TDS for some professional service ?
How do i claim Refund ? or what is the procedure I have to follow in such circumstances ?

dear Mr Girish
one by six rule is not in force now.if u want to get refund , you'll have to file a Return in ITR 4 if it is AY 2007-08
If the deduction has taken place only recently , u can wait till the year end and file a Return for AY 2008-09

Fill ITR 4 to claim refund amount

if tds is deducted then you will file return,and in subsequent period you will apply to the AO for not deducting tds and obtained tds certificate and give to the deductor to not to deduct tds
