04 August 2014 There is requirement for qualification to be a tax consultant. However, professional course like CA, CS, CWA, LLB will be an added advantage.

04 August 2014 you should refer tax laws such as IT ACT, VAT, Service TAX, Exise etc for better understanding of tax laws.
