Respected Expert,
Kindly let me know is there any upper limit fixed for chartered accountants to do tax audit. I am versed with Statutory audit limits. Tax Audit of partnership firm, pvt. ltd. compnies etc, needs clarification.

Totally you can do 45tax audits in a year commencing from 1st april to 31st march. It includes individuals, firms, aops, companies where turnover exceeds rs.40Lakhs in case of trading concern and rs.10Lakhs in case of professional firms.
