31 May 2016 my friend father has a businessman on oct 2010 he died,on that year the total turnover is Rs.75,00,000.00
and total TDS is 1,35,000.00.
Now my friend want to claim refund of the A/Y 2011-12.can he claim and how.

31 May 2016 at that time you have to take the permission from the commissioner of income tax of your ward for getting file of return. but at that time tax audit limit was
Rs. 60 lacs. it may possible you have to pay the penality for that , pls wait for another expert reply.

31 May 2016 1)Consult a Chartered accountant practices in Income tax

2)Same can be done by filing condonation petition u/s 119(2)(b) with CIT if CIT condones your return may be accepted and refund will be processed, and this is only paper return no online filing possible.
(Online filing is made available just some months back and withdrawn the same facility in few days as department got many returns in this way)

3)Books of accounts needs to be get tax audited by CA.
