define demat account??why its is created?

DMAT account stands Dmaterialised Account. it is operated with a bank where the physical shares are kept in electronic form. It is just as godown in electronic form with the bank, where shares purchased are parked in this account and on sales delivery of the shares is from this account. Such account is operated to avoid physical handling (paper form )of shares.
