whether purchase from unregistered dealer is taxable in the hand of purchaser in karnataka vat act? please reply.

Under Karnataka VAT, when you purchase from an un-register dealer, there will be no input VAT credit. But when you sell the same, output VAT is applicable at the appropriate rate for the product.
