02 May 2016 Good evening, While registering tan following error occurs Tan not available in tan masterAll statements filed for fy 2009-10 nd onwards are in cancelled state or nil statements .Now tell me how to register it?

02 May 2016 So TAN registration not possible..Are u applied using 49B to get TAN ?

02 May 2016 Dear Prerna, I guess you are facing this issue while registering your TAN on Traces website and for a newly acquired TAN number. I'd like to clear it here that, before registering your TAN number on traces website, you first have to file a TDS return along with challan details and deductee details.. once the return is filed, then you'll be able to register your TAN number on TRACES website. 03 May 2016 Yes I have filed the tds return. Yet not able to register on traces website. Is there any time limit?
