01 February 2023 I have filled TAN Application and made due payment of Application through Net Banking. However I could not generate the Acknowledgement Receipt as there was some error in the website. I have received the e-mail regarding generation of Acknowledgment Receipt. However I am unable to generate Acknowledgement Receipt which I require to print in hard-copy and send it to defined address in Gurgaon . Kindly guide me how to generate Acknowledgement Receipt of TAN Application??

26 July 2025 To download and print the **TAN Acknowledgement Receipt** after applying online and facing errors, follow these steps:

### Step 1: Check Your Email Carefully

* The acknowledgment receipt is usually sent as an attachment or a link in the email you received after application.
* Search your inbox (and spam folder) for keywords like **TAN**, **Acknowledgment**, **NSDL**, or the application date.
* Download the PDF from the email directly if available.

### Step 2: Use NSDL's Online Acknowledgement Retrieval

1. Visit the official TAN site:
[https://www.tin-nsdl.com](https://www.tin-nsdl.com)
Navigate to the **TAN Services** section.

2. Look for options like:

* **Track TAN Application Status**
* **Reprint Acknowledgement Receipt**

3. Enter details such as:

* Your **Acknowledgment Number** (from the email or payment confirmation)
* Your PAN or application reference number
* Date of application

4. You will be able to view/download the acknowledgment receipt for printing.
