TALLY ERP 9 -Stock Related

22 July 2017 Dear Sirs, We don't have stock records in tally for last year. But now ,we want to maintain stock records in Tally ERP 9. We are in manufacturing industry. If we enable the stock option, we have getting difference in last year Op & Cl stock. So,I request you to please provide us the solution to maintain stock in Tally ERP 9.

23 July 2017 whatever opening and closing stock figure amount you showed in your last year trading a/c have to be defragmented into various items of stocks you dealt with. hence, you have to take as opening stock figure of whatever figures you had as closing stock figures showed in last balance sheet and deal with accordingly.
call me if any controversy still unsolved after this suggestion.
