Hi All,
I have a query regarding Tally 7.2
I have got fully prepared account Statement in Tally 7.2 soft copy. Now if i want to search any particular entry or any word in its narration so that I can ensure that receipts from any particular debtor has been received wat is the procedure
pls help me i searched a lot on google but cudnt find any way out

no idea about it, however you can export the ledger with narration in tally and then can use Control+F to find and then see in tally the entry..

The regular user of tally must be knowing the same.

HI,
Open the ledger account, and press F12, select voucher, narration-in the field " containing" type the name you require in the highlighted fields then you will get the selected name displayed on the screen. Hope you got it...

Hii opened the monthly ledger summary and den if i go to F12 and narrations can be displayed with ledger but how would any particular name in Narration get highlighted??

Open particular ledger account at which you want to search in detail format i.e with narration and any other like cost centers,bill wise details etc if available and you want such details also for your particular option and then Press ALT+F12 and then select voucher and then next option select "narration" and then next option select "containing" and then at next option type the "word or matter" what you want to search as key word.
If you understand the above process and followed and get the result then okay other wise please call me:08985063892 or provide your email ID i will provide you snap-shot to that mail id how to follow.
And one more thing after entry of the key word select "end of list" and "end of list again"(i forget to insert this words in the first para so i provided here so please read this pare at the end of the first para above).
