I am doing audit in Pvt. Co. having Tally Erp. 9.09 software.during ledger scrutiny i have found everytime period has to be changed to april 10 to march 11,as everytime i open any ledger data of latest entry produced rather than data from april 1 to march 31st.plz provide me the solution for the same

26 May 2011 JUST CHANGE THE PERIOD BY ALT+ F2 (PERIOD) AT GATEWAY OF TALLY (01.04.10 TO 31.03.11)

26 May 2011 Yes that is correct, After opening the company give the date at the gateway of tally as 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2011 then the default period if 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2011 for all ledgers

27 May 2011 thanks for the solution.but sir when everytime open ledger it opens from the like i open Creditors a/c it show from period 6th june to 31st march,etc same thing happen in all the cases date varies with the last month operated transactions only.i want to see all ledgers from 1aprl to 31st march
