18 May 2010 i have a rented immovable property but at the end of month i deduct t.d.s.but not pay to govt.since april 2009.is it possible to pay write now with interest?

18 May 2010 Yes. You can remit the same now. Make sure to mention the appropriate Assessment year in the remittance challan. The penal interest will be 1% p.m if remitted before 30/06/2010. After that it is 1.5% p.m in cases where tax is deducted but not remitted to to Govt.
