for students registered for may 2017 for how many attempts can they continue the old syllabus?

for IPCC 3 Attempts starting from May 2018 i.e., till May 2019 they can write exams in Old Syllabus .
For final students it is 6 ATTEMPTS starting from May 2018

but already i have written first attempt in may 2017 now writing second attempt...so till may 2019 can i continue?

Yes Ms.Pooja Arcot,
You can write your IPCC exams under Old Syllabus till May 2019.
The above said 3 attempts is starting from May 2018.
So it doesn't matter whether you wrote exams or not .
IPCC students those who registered before July 1 can write exams under Old Syllabus till May 2019.

again any renewal for registration fees need to be paid or just payment of exam fees is sufficient until may 2019?? only group two is left to be cleared

No need to pay any Renewal Fee.
Only you needs to pay Exam Fee
