09 July 2019 Hi Expert,
This is a request , i filed income tax return last year for the financial year 2017-2018 first time. I have filed one time but i want to do not file in this year for the financial year 2018-2019. That, may i leave in this year. will it raise notice from income tax department on my PAN Card number regarding not filed ITR for the year 2018-2019. And I aware to you, i filed income tax return last year Nill tax paid. i show the income below 250000. please help me in this case.

10 July 2019 Filing of Income Tax Return is mandatory only when your income is more than taxable limit. In case, your income is not more than 2,50,000 during 2018-19, you can avoid to file the ITR but please check your Form 26AS as well. In case there is any entry for TDS deduction from anywhere, it will be advisable to file your ITR and claim Refund.
As far as, enquiry from Income Tax Department is concerned, they generally raise enquiry on the basis of information of your income like 26AS or any material transaction like sale/ purchase of property.
