State reason for surrender (e.g., business closed, TAN not used, duplicate TAN, etc.)
3. Attach Documents: A letter on company/firm/individual letterhead stating the reason for surrender
Copy of TAN allotment letter (if available)
ID/address proof of the authorized person (if individual/proprietor)
4. Submit the Form: You can submit in two ways:
Online: Through TIN-NSDL website
Offline: Submit the filled form with documents to nearest TIN-FC (Facilitation Center)
❗ Important Notes: If TAN is unused or issued in error, it's mandatory to surrender it to avoid compliance issues.
