10 May 2012 Dear Sir,

One of our company is going for winding up. We want to completely surrender/cancel our PAN. What is the procedeure/ formalities for the same. Please guide on Forms etc.

Also, please advise whether we can go for cancellation immediately or after winding up.

10 May 2012 You have to write a letter to the concerned AO for cancellation. The PAN can not be cancelled unless the company is wound up. So you can apply after winding up when the final order of winding up is received.
