Surrender of pan

02 August 2011 1)if the firm is closed on 02/06/2011, then how to surrender PAN alloted to the firm. i have not found any prosedure in the income tax act and
2) how and when to file return for the period upto 02/06/2011.
please explain.

02 August 2011 1) If Your firm will be closed than you have surrender your Pan with Application against your Assessing officer at your nearest I.T.Office with sign by all authorized signatory.

2) If you want to file th I.T. Return up to 02/06/2011 so pl. wait up to year completed i.e. 31/03/2012. After this date you have file the return online or consult your C.A. or consultant.

02 August 2011 You have to apply to the concerned ITO regarding the same. The return of the same shall be filed after the complete of financial year.
