16 February 2018 Is GST applicable on supply of solar energy and whether VAT was applicable on the same or not? In my invoice solar energy is being supplied to IIT GUWAHATI and in the invoice its written in the particulars as 'Export Energy'.

16 February 2018 Rate shall be 18% if you are providing the distribution service. But rate shall be NIL if you company is a registered transmission or distribution utility.
