03 November 2011 Dear experts, I am attending one case wherein the one of the creditor has confirm the balance lesser than what is in the book of the assesee, ITO wants to add the diff. in the total income, it was because the cash payment was done by the assesee and the same was not accounted, it is correct.

03 November 2011 sort out the reason of diff from the creditor, if he has deducted some amount from bill and take confirmation, otherwise it would be treated as cash payment not accounted.

04 November 2011 Hi,At the assesment cash payment made/entry not done is not acceptable .year end balance have to be confirmed/tallied.ITO can add the diff.
