sir , i have a query of tds when we submit the tds of party example bill comes on date 25.12.2013 and we do the payment in january 2014 . so in this case tds submit in oct -nov quarter or in jan - mar quarter..help in this query

thanks again one more question example amount of bill Rs 80000/- and and tds rate 2% so submit amt of tds is Rs 1600/-if we do half payment in oct- dec quarter and half payment in jan - march quarter. so in this case we submit the tds half in 3 rd quarter or half in 4 th quarter. help in this query.

no still tds will be deductible on full amount as invoive is for full amount and be shown in the quarter in which invoice is generated.

thanks sir it means tds deducated when the biil receive and submit on same quarter in which bill is receive . but sir sometimes we do the payment in advance example payment advance do in oct-dec quarter and bill receive in jan - march quarter in this case tds submit in 3rd quarter or in 4th quarter.
