Submission of dir-8 by director of company

25 June 2016 Whether DIR-8 is required to be submitted by every director of company in every financial year if they are not disqualified to act as director as per Section 164(2) of companies Act,2013????

27 June 2016 No..there is no requirement of taking declaration in Form Dir-8 every year.
As per Companies Act, 2013, dir-8 is required to be submitted only at the time of Appointment or reappointment.
However, Auditor is required to put declaration about qualification/disqualification of Directors of a company as on 31st march.. Hence, director is required to give declaration about their qualification every year (not necessary in the form of Form Dir-8, it can be in letter format as well)
