can i get CA degree without Bcom graduation? Is doing bcom compulsory for chartered accountancy course?

You can become a qualified Chartered Accountant without pursuing your graduation like Bcom, if you successfully complete CPT, Intermediate and Final Examination.
Upon passing your CA Final examination you can get your Bcom degree wherein Institute has an MOU with IGNOU. Af sometime in future you wish to pursue some additional courses like let's say LLB, then having Degree becomes important.
In conclusion, it is not compulsory to have BCOM degree to pursue CA course, if your coming via CPT route.
