WE HAVE IMPORTED CERTAIN MACHINERY AT CONCESSIONAL RATE FROM US. OUR PLANT IS UNDER INSTALLATION AND DUE TO SHORTAGE OF STORAGE SPACE, WE UNLOADED SOME OF THE CONSIGNEMENTS AT A RENTED WAREHOUSE OUTSIDE OUR PLANE PREMISES.
NOW IS THERE ANY PERMISSION / APPROVAL REQUIRED FOR DOING SO. IF YES, THEN UNDER WHICH PROVISION
NOTE: THE MACHINERY HAVE BEEN CLEARED FROM ALL THE CUSTOM PROCEDURE.

write to juridictional DC with copy to range, for seeking permission for storage of goods outside, with clear facts and time to be taken to shift the same in registered permises.
department will check the facts and after getting ensure about that goods with concessional rate of duty will not be diverted they would grant permission subject to any undertaking if needed.

no such provision, as the assessee has already violated the rules, so being faster will be better, clear cut language that the space is short so extension of space will solve the prob.
