16 August 2013 If the minimum stipend amount is rs.1000/-. then why some CA firms offer 4000 for single grp and 8000 for second grp?

16 August 2013 Rs1,000 as mentioned above is only minimum amount to be given as stipend, CA firm can have full freedom to decide any amount above this figure for articles.
It depends upon the policy of the fimr giving stipend.

16 August 2013 Yes, Rs.1000 is minimum prescribed by ICAI

Firms can give any amount more than that

In bangalore we can expect stipend as

1st year--6000 PM
2nd year--7000PM
3rd year--8500 PM

Along with this we can get travelling conveyance and performing bonus depends on firms Normal practise...it all depends on the firm you are doing articleship
