Whether Statutory Meeting should be held by the company or not?

20 June 2011 Statutory meeting is held only one time during the life time of the company with in the time limit given in the provision. Change of the (P) Ltd into Ltd is only a change of the status of the company. Hence, again SM is not required.

20 June 2011 when u convert your company from private to public.... the change name iitself sapproved by sh automatically in such case... u not require to hold any EGM only for this purpose.. just file form only
