26 April 2010 One of my client wants to create association for maintenance of his builidng. I want to know the income tax status under which I can apply for PAN card. Also let me know the format of deed for creation of such association.

26 April 2010 But Sidharth if i consider it as AOP, at the time of filing return i have to consider the income of each member to decided the tax rate of AOP because if income of any member exceeds maximum amount not chargeable to tax then tax effect shall be different.

26 April 2010 You can form Housing Co-operative Society for the same. Status will be of Co-operative Society.
