22 March 2012 Whether Private Limited Company can start new business stated in Other Objects of MOA without passing Special Resolution in General Meeting (as stated u/s 149 - 2A) or under any other Section of Companies Act, 1956. However Section 149 is not applicable to Private Limited Companies.

23 March 2012 As per my here MOA amendment is required because it is the Main Object which is pursued to be the Business of Company!!
But where you are doing the business stated in other object then it does not remain other object rather it becomes the Main Object!!

26 March 2012 Every company is required to amend MOA to do the business of other object and is required to include such business in main object!!
