Please inform me the Standard deduction amount .
I have paid the following mediclaim premium for the FY 2018-19 ----
For me of Rs 9700/-
For mother of Rs 14500/- ( Age is 70 years)
For mother check up of Rs 8000/-
Please inform me the deduction amount under section 80D

Premium paid for your Mediclaim policy Rs.9,700 and Premium paid for senior citizen Mother's Mediclaim Rs.14,500 is individually available as deduction under section 80D

For mother's check up additionally, Rs. 5000/- can be claimed.
