Stamp duty on issue of share certificate

20 December 2011 Dear Experts,
Ours is an Unlisted Private Limited Company. Now we are issuing share certificates whether we need to pay any stamp duty on issue of share certificates or we can affix a revenue stamp on that.How much amount revenue stamp do we need to affix on it.
Please clarify my doubt. Very urgent.

06 January 2012 As per my Understanding, Revenue Stamp is not sufficient on SC. u will have to pay the stamp Duty on Face value+ Premium, if any..
