21 February 2013 Is stamp duty and registration charges paid during purchasing a house property is allowable expense??? To which assessee it is allowable???

21 February 2013 It is allowable expense. but within 1 lac the limit of sec 80C.

22 February 2013 As per sec 80C(1) To Individuals and HUF. Source of Income has nothing to do with it.
