23 July 2008 I knw someone who has lost his stamp duty paid at the time of purchasing of the flat.This must be atleast around 20 years back.Now the building is for redevelopment and it seems they have to produce the stamp duty paid receipt,how can they show they had paid it.They have no records with them ,but say it is paid,whom should they approach for the same.They have agreement,work order copy etc but nit the stamp duty reciept.Kindly help incase possible
